Double Diamond T

The Double Diamond T Ranch is owned and operated by Aaron and Marsha Thornbrugh. The ranch was built by the Thornbrughs with their love of and complete dedication to the enhancement of horsemanship and horse training.

Aaron “Mule” Thornbrugh is the facility trainer. “Mule” is a horseman who has followed the teachings of many of today's training legends such as Tom Dorrance, Buck Brannaman, Pat Parelli and others. From his beginnings as a cowboy and PRCA rough stock rider nearly twenty years ago, he has evolved into a trainer who focuses on “natural” horsemanship and methods which allow young or troubled horses to overcome their fears and become accepting members of a partner relationship. “Mule” strives to produce soft, confident and calm horses who can go on to any discipline desired. He offers lessons and clinics to individuals and groups, as well as colt starts, foundation training and resolutions for problem horses.

Marsha Thornbrugh has spent the majority of her life with horses as well. After a career as a Humane Officer and teacher of humane investigation specializing in equine issues, she now works as ranch manager of the Double Diamond T. She also provides fitting services with particular attention to the emotional well being of the young horses in training. The ranch is situated in a beautiful valley of the Ozark Mountains near Winslow, AR. This unique and picturesque location is conveniently located only one mile from I-540, twenty minutes south of Fayetteville.

The Thornbrughs welcome visitors to the ranch and always find time to talk about the training regimen or listen to the horse concerns of their clients.
